JOHN KIRBY Died 5th October 2021, aged 89, peacefully at home as he wished, supported by his family, the wonderful Teapot Homecare service and NHS end-of-life team. Busy community pharmacist and pharmacy tutor, WGC resident for 60 years, Rotarian for almost half a century, indefatigable committee man, loving husband, then brave widower, devoted father and grandfather, generous host and all round larger-than-life character. Survived by his sister Jane, daughters Susan, Caroline, Sarah and Rebecca; grandchildren Charlotte, Thomas, Dominic, Stephanie, Katriona, Joseph, Liora, Maya; great grandchildren Alfie and Caia. Much missed by all his family and friends. Private family funeral on 25th October. A celebration of John's life will be held on Friday 5th November.
