DR. CAREY ERNEST SMITHEN (PhD) Passed peacefully away in his sleep at home on Monday 30th April 2018 aged 81 years to join his beloved wife Jill Margaret, who passed 1 year ago. Father of Joyce, Peter, David and Mark, grandfather of Lewis, Emma, Jamie, Holly, Sofia, Oliver, Lucy and Grace. Retired Research Chemist from Hoffmann-la Roche in Welwyn Garden City with multiple interests and hobbies including Jazz, Model Cars, Astronomy, Books, Stamps & Coins, he will be sadly missed by his close family, relatives, former colleagues and many friends. His funeral will be at Harwood Park Crematorium on Monday 25th June 2018 at 11:45am.
