JEAN LINACRE (nee Norman) Of Welwyn Garden City, died on Tuesday 18 July 2017 at Acacia Mews Care Home, She was 82. Jean was born on March 13 1935 in Ryhope, Sunderland. In 1957 she married Sydney Frederick Linacre, and together they had two children, Paul and Susan. Jean had been an accomplished Seamstress, Teaching Assistant and enthusiastic fashion Sales Assistant, she was a formidable Housewife, loving Mother and "Nana" to her 3 beautiful granddaughters Rachel, Chloe and Georgia. Jean was filled with a great sense of fun, was adored unconditionally and will be greatly missed but, will also be remembered in someones story of her, every day. Jean is survived by her son and daughter and was predeceased by her husband Syd in 1992 A cremation service will be held at the Wollensbrook Crematorium, Hertford Road, EN11 9BN at 12 noon. All who knew Jean are welcome to attend. Flowers are also very welcomed and can be coordinated with Powell Funeral Service, Watton Road, Ware, SG12 0AA. 01920 463260.
