JILL MARGARET SMITHEN Passed peacefully away at home, surrounded by close family, on Wednesday 26th April 2017 aged 78 years after several years struggle with illness. Beloved wife of Carey, mother of Joyce, Peter, David and Mark, grandmother of Lewis, Emma, Jamie, Holly, Sofia, Oliver, Lucy and Grace. Well known locally as teacher, artist, illustrator, painter and author of poems, political commentary and childrens stories, she will be missed by her close family, relatives, former pupils and many friends. Her funeral will be at Harwood Park Crematorium on Monday 5th June 2017 at 11:45am.
