ROBERT BRETT GAVAGHAN Died on June 23, aged 71, at home in Welwyn, beside his best friend and beloved wife of 50 years, Elaine. He was a witty, kind and devoted family man, a gentleman who enjoyed books, art, films, travel and was a proud Rochdalean. He will be greatly missed by Elaine and their four children, Holly, Pippa, Fleur and Julian, their spouses and eight grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at St Thomas More Church, Knebworth, SG3 6AB on Friday, July 17, at 11am. Family flowers only. Donations to Barnardos. Enquiries to Austins 01438 714686.
