CHRISTINA HARPER (nee Nolan) Christina of WGC passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, aged 87. Chrissy was born in Claregalway, Ireland and came to England at the end of war to become a nurse. She met her future husband Harry, at a dance in London. Soon after marrying they moved to WGC where Harry joined De Havilland and Chrissy became mother to Ray, Julie and Richard. She was a much loved childminder before becoming an administrative assistant at Hertfordshire Police and then a Secretary at Roche. For over 40 years she contributed to the Labour Party at a local and national level. She leaves seven grandchildren who will miss her as much as do her own middle-aged children.
