DEREK JOHN HAMMOND died peacefully on October 1 at home in Welwyn. Husband of Maureen, devoted father to Justine and Verity and grandpa to Rania, Zara and Adam. A much loved and respected English gentleman. Funeral to take place on Thursday, October 23, 12 noon at St Marys Church, Welwyn, followed by private family only burial. No flowers by request but donations, if desired to further the treatment of Dereks grandson Adam c/o JJ Burgess & Sons, Alfred House, 20 The Common, Hatfield. AL10 0ND. 01707 262122.
