Alison May Conroy

Alison May Conroy, aged 51, passed away Sunday, June 22, as a result of injuries sustained in a road traffic accident whilst holidaying in Turkey. Alison Conroy was born in WGC on February 27, 1963. She was the fourth of six children of Elsie and Charlie Ross and is a much loved daughter, mum, nana and partner. After raising her three children, Alison started working in the care industry and later founded her own private domiciliary care agency, AC Homecare, which has grown to become a greatly respected agency within the local community. It is through her work that Alison was recognised for her caring and generous nature, and has been commended for the way in which she has helped and supported so many. Alison is survived by her three children, Daniel, Nicola and Sophie, and her long term partner Charlie. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Bradley and Willow. Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 11, 12.30pm at Harwood Park Crematorium, Watton Road, Stevenage, SG2 8XT.
