John Arthur Gwilym Walker died very peacefully at home on May 20, aged 95. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Glenys. Highly respected and held in great affection by pupils, colleagues, choir members and friends alike, he was a truly humble man whose life had a tremendous influence on so many. An inspiration and encourager, he lived his life for his Lord, in whose presence he is now and will be for ever. A thanksgiving service will take place on Wednesday, June 11, 2pm at St John the Evangelist, Lemsford, preceded by a short committal at Harwood Park Crematorium, 1.15pm.
