NORTON Aubrey Rowland. It is with sadness we announce that Aubrey Rowland Norton, 86, beloved husband for 65 years of Constance, and a devoted father to Shirley, Caroline, Steven, Christine and David, passed away on Monday September 23rd at Lister Hospital. Aubrey was born in London and was a lifelong resident of Welwyn Garden City. He served in the Parachute Regiment of the Army, and became a printer by profession, with a distinguished career at Alcuin and Bournehall Press before retiring. Aubrey is survived by his wife, five children, twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He will be forever in our thoughts, and we are comforted knowing he now has eternal peace. A funeral service is to be held at Harwood Park Crematorium, Knebworth, on Monday October 7th, 2:45pm, followed by a private reception. Family flowers only please.
