FERD FITT Francis Edward Fitt passed away suddenly on August 2, aged 72. Ferd was the loving husband of his greatly-missed late wife Ann, with whom he too-briefly enjoyed four children; Paul, Steven, Suzy and Snapper. He was grandfather to Charlotte and Harrie and to Annie, Buster and Eddie, all of whose successes he enjoyed. Lately, Ferd was a fond and very content companion to Jan Mercer. Ferds funeral will be at St Peters Church, Ayot St Peter on August 29 at 11am. Family flowers only. Donations in Ferds memory may be made to the Injured Jockeys Fund (www.justgiving.com/ ijf).
