WATERS Alfred John Harry (Alf) died peacefully on November 30, at the QE2 Hospital, after a short illness, aged 87. Beloved husband to second wife Sue father to David and Ian, grandfather to Emma, Claire, Simon and Myles and great grandfather to Timothy and Samuel. Re-united with Joan. A service of thanksgiving to Alfs life to be held on Tuesday, December 13, 10am at the Parish Church of St Etheldreda, followed by a private cremation at Harwood Park. All friends will be welcome at the church. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to Marie Curie Cancer Research. Alfs family would like to extend their thanks to the nurses and staff on Digswell and Stanborough wards at the QE2 for their care and kindness throught his illness.
