BATES WILLIAM (Bill), formerly of Knebworth and Welwyn, passed away January 4 2011 at home in Norfolk, aged 90. Loving husband to Megan, adoring father to Sandra, amazing grandfather and great-grandfather. Also a hugely giving friend and inspiration who served his country so selflessly. Memorial service at Horsham St. Faiths Crematorium, Norwich, Monday January 24 at 4.15pm. Old friends very welcome for 1.30pm refreshments at The Greens, Aylsham.
