WINN Alan Henry, (1921 - 2010) Alan Henry Winn passed away at home on September 9, 2010. He lived for a time in Welwyn Garden City and was employed by Roche Products. During the war he joined the RAF and served in Middle East, amongst other locations. After the war he lived with his parents and sister in Kent, where he met and married Linda Onash. He set up his own electrical repair and hardware shop in Maidstone. He has three children, two boys and a girl. In addition to a love of sport in which he was an active participant when younger, he later took great pleasure from undertaking volunteer work for the Kent Association for the Blind (College Road, Maidstone) fundraising setting up the process and recording the talking books for the blind.
