VEAR Betty (nee Baker) Vear. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother Betty, whose illness was bravely fought to the very end, on Sunday, April 25. She was a devoted wife to John, a loving mother to Sue and Elaine, sons-in-law John and Mick, a doting grandmother to Paul, Clare, Helen, Glenn and David, partners Scott, Shelley and Oliver and loving great grandmother to Charlotte, Cleo, Harry and new arrival Lucy Betty. Funeral will take place on Thursday, May 13, 1pm starting with a service at St Etheldredas Church, Hatfield, followed by a short service at Harwood Park , 2pm. All are welcome. Floral tributes welcome or donations, if preferred to the Isabel Hospice. Special thanks to all the staff on Stanborough Ward, QE2 for their caring and kindness.
