AVERN Edward Gilbert (Gil) Avern aged 90 of Cheveley, Sufffolk, formerly of Welwyn, passed away peacefully on April 29 at West Suffolk Hospital after a long illness bravely borne. Much loved father of Rick and Judy, father-in-law to Sandy and George and loving gramps to Sean, Guy, Liam, Helen and Neil. Funeral aready taken place. Donations if desired to be shared between Dullingham Parish Church and The Rookery Medical Centre may be sent c/o H J Paintin Ltd, 43 High Street, Linton, Cambridge, CB21 4HS.
