GRIFFITHS Colonel Bryan George Griffiths sadly passed away at the QE2 Hospital on Friday, March 20, aged 87. Bryan will be much missed by his wife Dr Erlinda Griffiths, family and friends. A memorial service will take place at the City Church, on The Wades, Hatfield, AL10 8LB on Wednesday, April 15, 11.30am. Colonel Griffiths will be interred at Southway Cemetery at 1pm. Private viewings can be made with prior agreement through J J Burgess & Sons, Alfred House, 20 The Common, Hatfield, AL10 0ND. 01707 262122. Flowers and tributes are welcome. Donations are welcome and should be made to J J Burgess & Sons and will be given in full support of a missionary training school, called the Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary in Baguio City in the Philippines.
