Venetia (Shirley) Benfield
Benfield, Venetia (Shirley), nee Newman, born 11 September 1932 in Sible Hedingham, Essex. Died peacefully in Foxholes Care Home on 12 June 2023. Much beloved wife and best friend to the late Ron and owner of many happy dogs. Lover of all nature's delights, animals and bird life. A creative artist and photographer and fan of Terry Pratchett and Bruce Springsteen.

Shirley was a wonderful family cousin.

We were lucky to have her, she was kind, thoughtful, elegance, considerate and very gently naughty.
We had a great many delightful relaxing days with her and Ron. Walks with the dogs and Christmas days.

Ron and Shirley, back together again. Just as it should be. Will think of you both often.
