Michael Annand

Michael Annand passed away peacefully at Heath Lodge care home, Welwyn, on 27 February 2024, aged 93. He was the widower of Carolyn, his wife of 58 years, father to Katherine and Hugh, and grandfather to Rosanna and Rowan. He was a friend and neighbour to many, and was known in the community for his years of dedicated service to the Rotary Club of Welwyn Hatfield and other local charities. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered. A memorial service will take place at St Francis Church, Church Rd, Welwyn Garden City at 11.30 a.m. on Friday 15 March, followed by a reception in the church hall. No flowers, but donations to Isabel Hospice and/or Médecins Sans Frontières would be welcome.
