WHIFFIN Reginald David "Reg" Of Uppingham, died peacefully on 23rd July 2024, aged 83 years. Beloved husband of Ellen, cherished father of Sheila, Bridget and Janet, loving stepdad to Olive and Rue and a much-loved Grand Reg, uncle, cousin and friend. Well respected teacher at St Michael's, Sloane Square, London; Shephalbury School, Stevenage and The Hammersmith School, London. He will be sadly missed by all. His funeral service will be held at Uppingham Parish Church on Wednesday 21st August 2024 at 11.30am, to be followed by burial in the Leicester Road Cemetery, Uppingham and after at the Best Western Rockingham Forest Hotel, Rockingham Road, Corby, Northants, NN17 1AE (2AE for Sat Nav purposes). Family flowers only but donations, if desired, to the Uppingham Methodist Church.
