Knebworth Community Chorus is set for its annual midsummer concert in the village this weekend.
Performers will entertain visitors at the village hall in Park Lane on Saturday, July 1 from 7pm.
This year will feature some popular old-favourite country classics with some less well known but equally lovely tunes, a ‘watery’ tribute to English, and European rivers, plus a catchy collection of toe-tapping, smile-raising Gilbert and Sullivan spoofs.
A spokesperson for the group said: "We are absolutely delighted this year to welcome an extra special guest, professional musician, and very new resident to Knebworth, James Mainwaring.
"Jeremy Lovell returns as our skilled accompanist on the piano and again we offer enormous thanks to the lighting and staging teams at the village hall."
Contact Jenny Harrison on info@knebworthchorus.org.uk for more information and tickets.
