Herts Vision Loss (HVL), a charity which supports those with visual impairments, is set to move into its new headquarters in Welwyn Garden City.
The organisation's new HQ and resource centre - at 2 Brownfields - will be officially opened by the Welwyn Hatfield mayor Pankit Shah at 11am on Tuesday, December 5.
The centre will serve as a hub for a number of the charity's services aimed at reducing social isolation, providing practical and emotional support and empowering individuals with visual impairments to maintain their independence.
A spokesperson for the charity said: "We are delighted that the Welwyn Hatfield Mayor has agreed to formally open the facility.

"The presence of the mayor undoubtedly enhances prestige to the event, emphasising the importance of community support for those with visual impairments.
"This marks a significant milestone for the organisation as it continues to expand its services to support blind and visually impaired individuals, their families, and carers in the county.
"This occasion is especially poignant as it coincides with the 10-year anniversary of Welwyn & Hatfield Sight Life group, one of the charity’s longest-running peer support group, which has played a vital role in bringing together residents with sight loss in Welwyn and Hatfield area."
