A Knebworth care home is joining The Big Dementia Conversation - a nationwide campaign to help people understand more about the disease.
From 2pm to 4pm on Thursday, February 8, Care UK Knebworth will be inviting members of the community will be invited to an "Adjusting to a Diagnosis of Dementia" session, led by co-founder and CEO of Dementia Pathfinders, Barbara Stephens.
She will provide attendees with insights into the dementia journey and how to live well with the condition, with more information available on Care UK's newly launched advice hub.

"Here at Knebworth, we understand how difficult it can be to adapt to the challenges that come with a dementia diagnosis," said Daniel Grab, home manager at Knebworth.
"This event will provide local people with insight and practical advice to better understand and prepare for the different stages of the condition while providing an opportunity to connect with others in a similar position.
"We’re thrilled to be welcoming Barbara Stephens to help those in the local community learn more about what dementia might mean for a loved one, and we’d encourage those interested to book their space to avoid missing out."
