A Welwyn Garden City-based home schooling service has been named Tutoring Business of the Year 2024.
Home-School Tutoring Hertfordshire & Cambridgeshire was awarded the accolade by the Tutors Association at a glitzy ceremony on June 21.
The event saw tutoring and education companies from across the country nominated for a variety of awards.
A spokesperson for Home-School Tutoring Herts & Cambs said: "We are dedicated to ensuring the right tutor supports each child. We take referrals from the local authorities, schools and private families.
"Much of our work is supporting young people who are out of education usually due to having unmet special educational needs. We support children who have EOTAS packages and those who have been permanently excluded from school.
"We also work with many families providing bespoke tutoring to boost confidence and academic learning.
"We have established strong relationships with other agencies locally to work collaboratively to support our young people.
"Our motto is ‘We recognise that every child is unique’.
"Seeing our students flourish with the dedicated support of their tutors makes every day so rewarding."
