AGMS Foundation brought a burst of joy to Hatfield's Briars Pavilion Day Opportunities as they donated essential kitchen equipment and supplies.
The new equipment will enable service users – largely adults with learning disabilities – to expand their culinary skills and build confidence.
The event on July 16 was met with excitement from users and staff at Briars Pavilion Day Opportunities which is a facility that offers a range of opportunities for adults with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling lives and make choices about their future.
Beverley Ashdown, Asda Hatfield Community Champion, joined the visit and brought additional kitchen items to donate.
She was "delighted" to be a part of the event and felt strongly about supporting the foundation's mission.
Assistant manager, Thandi Sithole-Kainga said: "Wow, thank you so much for supporting us and the group; we see the growth of life skills because of your donations."
Additionally, AGMS Foundation serves as a food bank distributor in Hatfield Town Centre, on the last Friday of every month from 10am to 12pm.
