The Galleria in Hatfield has fully switched its operations to 100 per cent renewable energy sources.
Promoting its vision for a greener future, The Galleria celebrates its 'Hatfield Heroes', commending those likewise working towards a more sustainable future in the community.
This month shines a spotlight on University of Hertfordshire student Jerwin Geo.
Jerwin's final thesis for his Architecture and Urbanism Master's degree explores the challenging balance between urban development and ecological preservation.
Jerwin Geo said: "I was thrilled to present my final masterplan. Creating architectural designs that focus on sustainability is a real passion of mine and is a really important consideration for future urban development."
Tim Stirling, The Galleria's centre director, said: "Jerwin’s work is really impressive and demonstrates how urban development can be implemented whilst still respecting our ecosystems.
"We look forward to celebrating the work of our next Hatfield Hero".
