RunThrough, which organises Hertfordshire Half Marathon and 10k, has revealed its chosen charity for this year's event as Garden House Hospice Care.
Starting and finishing at Knebworth House, the event will take place on November 3.
The Hertfordshire Half Marathon & 10k is a beloved event, known for its scenic and
road-closed course.
The course winds through picturesque rural roads, offering a blend of challenge and beauty for all participants.
Garden House Hospice Care provides specialist palliative care and support for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families, within the Hertfordshire area.
Adam Brockett, product and events development lead at Garden House Hospice
Care, commented: “We are super excited to once again be a big part of this large local event that really does enable us to assemble a great team of runners to support our charity and raise much needed funds for the hospice.
"The partnership raised well over £10,000 for us last year from our team of Garden House
runners and we are looking forward to 2024 being an even more successful and rewarding year for the charity and all of those who are supporting us.”
