Police officers showed their fun side at a community event in Welwyn Garden City.

PC Cameron Abraham and PCSO Emma Carson, from the Neighbourhood Policing Team, attended the event at Christchurch Baptist on September 14.

They were there to speak to residents, offer crime prevention advice, and listen to any concerns.

A police car was also on display, which was popular with children.

The officers also found time to have a bungee cord contest, which PC Abraham won.

PC Abraham said: "We had a great time at the event and spoke with a lot of residents.

"They gave positive feedback about the police attending the event and this was really nice to hear.

"These informal events give us a chance to show our fun side and remind residents that we are friendly and here to help."
