Shoppers and residents had the chance to quiz officers on crime prevention at a Hatfield shopping centre.
Officers from the Welwyn Hatfield Neighbourhood Policing Team hosted an event at the police hub in The Galleria.
PCSOs Shannon Payne and Bill McCaskie were at the hub on Saturday, September 21, chatting to residents and offering crime prevention advice.
PCSO Payne said: “I would like to thank everyone who came to see us at our Galleria hub.
"We encouraged residents to sign up to Herts Connected, our new community messaging platform.
"If you haven’t joined, yet I encourage you to do so. It helps us keep you up to date with important police news and advice.”
There was also information on how to become a Special Constable. These are ordinary people who volunteer as police officers in order to give back to their local community.
Join Hertfordshire Constabulary's community messaging platform Herts Connected at hertsconnected.co.uk.
You can also choose to receive messages from Neighbourhood Watch, Action Fraud and the Police and Crime Commissioner if that’s what you select when you sign up.
If you are interested in joining the force's Special Constabulary, find out more in the jobs section at herts.police.uk.
