A pedestrian has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Hatfield.
Police were called at around 3.05pm on today (November 9) to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian in Comet Way.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and has been airlifted to hospital.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested and is in police custody at this time.
Officers remain on scene and road closures are in place.
Motorists have been asked to use an alternative route.
