Travelodge has targeted Potters Bar as one of its newest locations to "help unlock regeneration opportunities".
Today (March 27), Travelodge, is writing to a number of local authorities in Hertfordshire - proposing a joint development partnership that can act as a "catalyst to stimulate regeneration and facilitate further growth in the region's cities and towns".
This expansion programme could represent a multi-million-pound investment for third party investors and create new jobs.

The group has a requirement to open ten new Travelodge hotels across Hertfordshire in the following ten locations: Potters Bar, Hertford, Stevenage, Watford Hospital, Kings Langley, Radlett, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Broxbourne / Hoddesdon, and Ware.
The letter outlines that Travelodge has "played a pivotal role for the last 10 years in supporting local authorities in England, Wales and Scotland through local regeneration and growth programmes, creating within the community and helping parents return to work."

It added that the group has been attracting new visitors to areas, boosting local economies.
The letter incudes a direct call to action on how Travelodge can do the same for other local authorities that it does not currently work with.
