Would you consider Welwyn Garden City, St Albans and Harpenden to be the best places to live in England in 2023?
A poll that was voted on by over 60,000 people on ilivehere.co.uk claimed our areas are worthy of being in the Top 50 Best Places to Live in England in 2023 list.
Welwyn Garden City was voted as the 48th best places to live in England this year along with Harpenden taking the bottom spot of the 50th best place.

A spokesperson from ilivehere said: "Finally it’s here. Our first ever best places to live in England poll 2023, as voted for by 67,955 of our readers. To be honest, it didn’t turn out quite the way we thought it would."
St Albans was ranked among the top 10 best places, taking eighth place on the list.

The spokesperson added: "Hmm St Albans… yep, we’ve got nothing and that is a good sign that it’s probably OK."
The list might not be that surprising as Hertfordshire is home to some of the most scenic areas in the country, especially at this time of the year where the flowers are in full bloom and the sun is shining upon us.
