Engineers are on site of The Attimore Hall pub car park after a sinkhole appeared yesterday.
A metre wide and deep sinkhole opened in the car park in Ridgeway, Welwyn Garden City and the pub has been temporarily closed after safety concerns were raised.
The private property brought on their own engineers to inspect the sinkhole.

An engineer said: "So far it's just a standard sinkhole and it is pretty small, maybe about a metre wide and deep. We don't think it will get any bigger and we should be able to fill it up in a few days."

The engineer added that the pub should be able to function as normal going forward but for now, the car park has been closed.
