Thousands of fans will converge on Hatfield this weekend for an annual rock music festival.

Slam Dunk Festival South returns to Hatfield Park on Saturday, May 27.

The sold-out pop-punk, ska punk, emo and metal festival will be co-headlined by St Albans band Enter Shikari and The Offspring.

It will be Enter Shikari's first Slam Dunk headline appearance since the festival moved from the University of Hertfordshire's College Lane Campus to Hatfield Park.

Following Saturday's all-day festival in the grounds of Hertfordshire stately home Hatfield House, Slam Dunk moves North with the same bill playing Leeds Temple Newsam on Sunday, May 28.

Meanwhile, Sunday, May 28 in Hatfield will see Slam Dunk organisers put on another event headlined by NOFX, the date being the Los Angeles punks' final UK show.

Fresh from topping the UK album charts for the first time with new release A Kiss For The Whole World, Enter Shikari headline the Amazon Music presents Rock Scene Stage at Slam Dunk.

The stage will also feature the likes of Billy Talent, PVRIS, Kids in Glass Houses, Underoath, Wargasm, Holding Absence and Enter Shikari's fellow St Albans band Trash Boat.

American rockers The Offspring, best known for 1998 number one hit Pretty Fly (for a White Guy), top the bill on the festival's other main stage, The Dickies Stage.

Fans hoping to see both headliners are out of luck as The Offspring are due on at the same time as Enter Shikari are playing the Rock Scene Stage.

Festival-goers can also see the likes of Bowling for Soup, Less Than Jake, Flogging Molly and Slam Dunk regulars Zebrahead on The Dickies Stage.

The multi-stage festival will also feature headline sets from Creeper and Yellowcard in The Kerrange Tent, and Malevolence on The Knotfest Stage.

After the main stages have finished for the night there will be a closing DJ set from DJ Fresh in The Knotfest arena.
