Talented pupils from a school in Hatfield are helping to bring new homes to life through art.

Following a creative competition, children from Onslow St Audrey's School have unveiled new artwork at Durkan Homes’ neighbouring Hatfield East development.

Students of all ages from the school and sixth form took part in an art competition organised by the developer in partnership with school staff.

Durkan Homes gave the pupils the opportunity to create imaginative artwork for its new show home at Hatfield East.

The shortlist of winners, including Luca, Lily, Gabriel and Ella, aged 12 to 17, now all have their work on display to visitors viewing the new development next to Onslow St Audrey’s School.

"It’s been good fun to organise this competition with Onslow St Audrey’s School while we build our Hatfield East site.

“The artwork created has been brilliant and it’s been good to see the pupils really get involved and show their creativity.

"We’re looking forward to hearing what visitors think about the pieces on display.”
