Welwyn St Mary's Church is inviting singers to join its adult and junior choirs to boost their health and life skills.
The church is keen to encourage singing as a way to improve breath control, as well as learning how to understand timing and rhythm.
Last year Welwyn St Mary's appointed Robert Milner as their new director of music. Since then many new members have joined the adult choir, while Robert also reinstated the junior choir.
Robert reintroduced choral evensong on the second Sunday of each month, and has seen the congregation steadily grow.
Refreshments are served after the 9.30am Morning Eucharist each week, while evening services are frequently followed by social drinks and nibbles.

Rehearsals for the junior choir, which welcomes children as young as six or seven, are every Thursday evening from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, with adult choir rehearsals from 7.30pm to 9pm.
Anyone is welcome to join regardless of singing talent or experience, with opportunities to learn and improve.
The choir is particularly welcoming singers in the alto, tenor and bass ranges.
Scholarships are also available for talented teenagers to help support their musical development and future music careers.
Anyone interested in joining is welcome to come along on Thursday, September 7 and start learning carols for the festive season.
