Organisers will be showing kids animation Sing 2 and Tom Cruise's Top Gun action adventure sequel Top Gun: Maverick.
Hertford Castle will be the backdrop to the outdoor screenings on the Castle Lawn.
Organised by Hertford Town Council, Sing 2 will screen during the day for children and families.
Gates open at 1.30pm for a 2pm start.
Top Gun: Maverick will be the evening show, suitable for adults, with gates opening at 6.30pm and the film screened from 7pm.
Councillor Ann Woodward, Hertford Town Council's development and leisure committee chair, said: “Do come and join us for these open-air cinema screenings in the beautiful grounds of Hertford Castle.
"What a wonderful way to relax and spend time with family and friends on a summer’s day.”
