Hundreds of Potters Bar residents gathered over the weekend to remember the fallen at Remembrance services.
The town's Royal British Legion organised a schools Remembrance event at the Potters Bar's War Memorial on Friday, November 10.
The branch's president, Brian Dee, said: "I invited all the schools in Potters Bar and we were very pleased to see Ladbrooke and Stormont Schools.
"We started this parade last year and it is good to see that this is much better this year. The idea was to offer a Remembrance commemoration during school time".
The event was supported by 57 (Potters Bar) Squadron, Air Training Corps and the Revd Stefan Chrysostomou from St Mary's Church in The Walk.
The Mayor of Hertsmere, Councillor Chris Myers, also attended, speaking to pupils after the event.
On Remembrance Sunday (November 12), crowds flocked to pay their respects at the town's war memorial, where the principal guest was Lord Charles Cecil, Deputy Lieutenant for Hertfordshire.
Mayor of Hertsmere, Cllr Chris Myers also attended, and The Royal British Legion Exhortation and the Kohima Epitaph were read by Dave Jarvis.
Cadets from 57 (Potters Bar) Squadron, Air training Corps provided a guard on the War Memorial.
