Residents, families, and staff at Oakview Lodge Care & Nursing Home in Welwyn Garden City joined forces to decorate their care home in the spirit of Christmas.
Staff were keen to get residents and their families together to take part in trimming trees and putting up decorations.
Everyone divided their time across each of the three floors in the home to transform them into a true winter wonderland for the residents.
Housekeeper, Sandra, contributed to the afternoon by making table centrepieces.
She said: "I watched YouTube videos on how to put them all together. Most of the foliage you see was from my garden and the cones I found on the field nearby.
"Our residents have thoroughly enjoyed getting our home ready for Christmas."
"I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who joined us to make the home ready for Christmas," said activity co-ordinator, Rachel Davies.
"Without your input, it would’ve been a mammoth job. But I can truly say it has been really touching to see everyone working together and we look forward to doing it again next year."
