Hertsmere MP Oliver Dowden has joined commemorations marking Holocaust Memorial Day.
The Deputy Prime Minister signed the Holocaust Educational Trust's book of commitment, pledging to remember the lives of the six million Jews killed during World War II.
Mr Dowden said: "I was proud to be able to sign the Book of Commitment in Parliament, and to honour those murdered during the Holocaust as well as pay tribute to the extraordinary Holocaust survivors who work tirelessly to educate young people.
"We must never forget what happened, both to keep alive the memories of those lost, and stand firm against the prejudice and hatred today.
"As your local MP and in my role as Deputy Prime Minister, I remain firmly committed to fighting antisemitism and hate of any kind."
