A Welwyn Garden City-based food company brought the tastes of Jamaica to the Bob Marley: One Love film premiere, providing tasty Caribbean snacks for the event.
Grace Foods, the number one supplier of Caribbean food and drink to the UK, provided each VIP guest with Grace Plantain Chips and a bottle of Grace Tropical Rhythms for the premiere, which was held at the BFI Southbank in London on January 30.
Staff from Grace Foods UK, including managing director Brian Mitchell, brand manager Dorota Dziedzic and global category manager Kimberley Lue Lim, also enjoyed the premiere.
"Bob is the Jamaican music legend and all of the team at Grace Foods UK were thrilled to be able to treat the VIPs attending the event to the tastes and flavours of Jamaica, with our best-selling Grace Plantain Chips, the UK's most popular plantain chips, and the refreshing range of Grace Tropical Rhythms," said Kimberley.
"Our goody bags packed full of Caribbean flavours were well received by the VIPs at the premieres, and along with the amazing movie and the sounds of Bob Marley brightened up a cold January day.
"And with Caribbean food trending for 2024, this is a great way to shine a light on the nutritious, wholesome ingredients of authentic food and tropical island flavours from the Caribbean."
Kingsley Ben-Adir, who plays Bob Marley, attended the premiere alongside stars James Norton, Lashana Lynch, director Reinaldo Marcus Green, and producers Ziggy Marley, Robert Teitel and Jeremy Kleiner.
Bob Marley: One Love is out in cinemas on February 14.
