Taco Bell will be celebrating the grand opening of its new restaurant at South Mimms services with free food and live music.
The store will be the first opened by the popular Mexican food retailer at a UK motorway services, with customers welcomed from Monday, February 19, 11am to 10pm daily.
To celebrate the opening of Taco Bell at Welcome Break South Mimms - located just off Junction 23 of the M25 - a launch event will be held on Friday, February 23, with 50 free tacos available to the restaurant first customers.
There will also be 100 free goodie bags and live music performed by Hertfordshire-based band The Hits.
"We’re delighted to share that we’ll be opening a Taco Bell in our Welcome Break South Mimms service area this month," said Adrian Grimes, commercial director at Welcome Break.
"Taco Bell adds a Mexican-inspired cuisine to our current dining offering in South Mimms and will give our many customers a new quick and tasty option while they take a break before continuing their journey."
Taco Bell is well-loved for its craveable, customisable, and quick-service Mexican-inspired classics, including tacos, burritos, nachos, and quesadillas.
The restaurant opened its first UK site in late 2010, with the business now expanding to more than 140 stores nationwide.
