A Welwyn Garden City dog trainer has seen her work recognised after being nominated for an Animal Star Award.
Amy Paige is one of the names in contention to win Dog Trainer of the Year when the awards are held in Portsmouth on May 26.
Her journey to dog trainer extraordinaire began at the age of just nine, when she started walking pets for others.
Then, in 2019, she rehomed nine-week-old border collie Bella, who quickly started to display some concerning behaviours.

"I wanted to do everything in my power for this sweet little pup, and so I started studying with The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers," she explained.
"After studying for two to three years, I took my dog training assessment in 2022, and passed with distinction.
"I set up Amy’s Tails of Dog Training to help as many owners as I could who were struggling with their dogs just like I was.
"I wanted to bring the fun back into training pet dogs and easing the pressure and guilt dog owners feel."
The Animal Star Awards is a organisation that recognises the work of animal charities, businesses and therapy and assistance animals across the UK.
