A monthly Farmers and Craft Market is relaunching in Hatfield, with the first event taking place this weekend.
Scheduled to take place on the first Saturday of each month, the grand launch will take place on Saturday (June 1), in White Lion Square between 8am and 3pm.
To celebrate the launch, there will be live music, free face painting, board games in the Library, Herts Chalk Walk, live cooking from the Weeping Chef and more.
Residents can also take advantage of three hours free parking at Hatfield’s multi-storey car park.
The market will feature a range of diverse traders selling homemade crafts, jewellery, delicious bakes and cakes, seasonal fruit and veg and locally sourced meat.
Stalls will include the Dutch Nursery offering butcher and deli produce, Bootiful Things selling handcrafted bags and accessories, and Netal Collective offering various crafts such as keychains, sewn gifts and 3D printed planters.
There’s more exciting news for Hatfield Market as from July, with hopes that a new Specialist Asian Market and Pre-loved Market will be welcomed to the town.
If you’re interested in operating a stall at the Farmer and Craft Market, contact Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council by emailing hatfieldtowncentre@welhat.gov.uk.
