The Picture House at 195 Darkes Lane is up for sale after being listed by estate agent Duncan Perry Commercial, and is expected to fetch an eight-figure sum.
The building comprises of ground floor retail units, the biggest of which is currently occupied by beds specialists Dreams, while the remaining floors are made up of 36 two-bedroom apartments and four one-bedroom apartments.
More flats could be added soon, with the listing reading: "Currently, the vendors are in the process of applying for planning permission for two additional floors.
"One would be added on the roof of the building and would comprise of seven penthouse apartments. The other floor within the current building would be created to provide a further 16 apartments.
"There is also an attractive asset management opportunity in the future on the ground floor, should change of use be applied for. This would create a further 14 apartments.
"The building can also be sold by individual floors."
The listing also describes The Picture House as an "ideal investment and development opportunity".
