Two young rhythmic gymnasts at Stars Academy in Welwyn Garden City have qualified for elite competitions.

Phillipa Museva, 19, has qualified for the British Championships in the senior category for the second year running.

Last year Phillipa finished eighth overall in the country for ball and ribbon, and in 2021 she represented Britain at the World Championships in Japan and at the European Championships in Bulgaria.

The British Championships take place from Friday, July 19 to Sunday, July 21. Phillipa will compete with her hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon routines over two days - aiming to qualify for the finals.
