Wimbledon and the Olympics are set to be shown on a big screen in Welwyn Garden City.
Summer of Sport will be showing the second week of Wimbledon, starting on Monday, July 8 from 10am to 6pm, and running until July 14 - the day of the tournament's final.
Organised by Welwyn Garden City BID, with funding and support from Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council and Crane & Staples Solicitors, a week of the Paris 2024 Olympics, which start on July 26, will also be screened.
"This year we are offering a Summer of Sport, which includes a week of live action from Wimbledon and a week of live action from the Paris Olympics," read a post on the Welwyn Garden City BID Facebook page.
"Really excited to be part of this Summer of Sport in Welwyn Garden City," added Crane & Staples Solicitors.
Residents were excited too, with one saying: "So pleased that our town is coming alive with all these amazing events taking place."
Another added: "It's absolutely great to hear lots of events will be going on for us to enjoy."
