Firefighters were called on to put out a "bin fire" in Welwyn Garden City in the early hours of today (Tuesday, July 30).
Shortly after 2am, Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a small fire in some bins near the Morrisons petrol station on Black Fan Road.

One fire engine from Welwyn Garden City was swiftly sent to the scene, where firefighters extinguished the blaze with a hosereel.
A spokesperson for the fire service said the fire is believed to have started accidentally.
Mark Barber, assistant chief fire officer, said: "Nobody was hurt, but this is a reminder that our firefighters are on standby to deal with incidents, large or small, day and night.”
