Superstar singer Ed Sheeran visited a supermarket in Hertfordshire today for a special event to promote his hot sauce brand, Tingly Ted's.
Our reporter, Huw Richards, was at London Colney's Sainsbury's store, and capture plenty of pictures and videos as excited fans flocked to see the singer.
Fans travelled for hours, including one who had flown from Germany, to catch a glimpse of Ed, while another brought his guitar in hopes of getting the singer to sign it.
Ed rocked up in London Colney to promote his hot sauce brand Tingly Ted's, with hungry supporters able to try the sauce on slices of pizza, given out from a pop-up van in the car. park.
"As a lifelong ketchup and hot sauce obsessive, Ed Sheeran had a dream to make the 'ketchup of hot sauces' - a not-so-hot hot sauce to be dolloped onto everything. Burgers, eggs, burritos. You name it," the Tingly Ted's website reads.
As for the name, the story continues: "Way back yonder, Teddy was Ed’s childhood nickname. After leaving his paw prints on a couple of Ed’s records, today, Ted has been born again as a grumpy bear, sidekick and co-creator of the first tingly sauce known to man (and bear, of course)."
