The two first ladies of France and the United States find themselves unexpectedly sidelined by their husbands at a major international conference is the south of France.
One, an Eastern European ex-model, is used to such treatment from her right-wing, born-again Republican husband.
But the first lady of France, a woman who is significantly older than her husband, has enjoyed a considerable amount of power and has done a lot to get him into the Presidency, and rails and fumes at her sudden position of impotence.
But are they completely powerless? As their husbands seem to be driving towards a major and possibly global conflict just to save their own positions, is there anything their wives can do to stop it?
This play offers a possible, if somewhat extreme solution!
